On a trip to Switzerland, I was struck by the modest elegance of a potager garden in a Savoy Chateau over looking Lake Geneva.

Gardening combines so many of my interests. Sustainability, native plants, architecture and craft.

Volunteering locally and constructing a small pleasure garden have been some of the most rewarding creative experiences yet.
